Located approximately 150km from Cape Town on the Cape West Coast, Shelley Point is nestled within the greater St Helena Bay region. The peninsula is uniquely framed by three stunning bays, each offering something special, from soft white sand to some of the calmest waters on the West Coast.

What is the check-in and check-out time?

Check-in is strictly from 15:00 (3 PM) and check-out is by 10:00 (10 AM). This allows our cleaning team adequate time to prepare the home to our high standard of cleanliness and luxury.

What is the minimum stay requirement?

We require a minimum stay of two nights throughout the year. During high season (December/January), a minimum of seven nights may apply. Please check the booking calendar for specific requirements.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept all major credit cards and EFT payments. A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to your arrival date.

Is the property pet-friendly?

While we love animals, Azure Horizons unfortunately cannot accommodate pets at this time to maintain the pristine condition of the property for all our guests.

Is the kitchen fully equipped for self-catering?

Yes, the kitchen is fully equipped with high-end modern appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave, and a premium oven. We provide all essential cookware, crockery, and cutlery for a seamless self-catering stay.

Do you provide quality linens and towels?

Absolutely. We provide luxury, high thread-count linens for all beds, as well as bath and beach towels. A complimentary starter pack of toiletries is also supplied.

Does the property have Wi-Fi and entertainment?

Yes, the property offers complimentary, uncapped, high-speed Wi-Fi. The main living area features a smart TV with access to streaming services (guest subscriptions required).

Is the swimming pool heated, and are there braai facilities?

The outdoor plunge pool is unheated, perfect for refreshing dips during warm days. We provide top-tier outdoor braai (BBQ) facilities on the deck for enjoying outdoor meals with a sea view.

How close is Azure Horizons to the beach?

The home is located just steps away from the shoreline (we estimate about 30 steps), giving you immediate access to the tranquil, sheltered waters of St Helena Bay.

What can I do in the area?

The area is perfect for long beach walks, bird watching, and whale and dolphin spotting right from the deck (seasonal). The Shelley Point Lighthouse and the local golf course are also nearby attractions.

Where is the nearest place to buy groceries?

The nearest major grocery store is located approximately 15 minutes away by car in the Vredenburg area, providing all the necessities for your self-catering stay.

Is the water safe for swimming in St Helena Bay?

Yes, St Helena Bay is well-known for its calm, sheltered waters, which are generally warmer and safer for swimming than the open Atlantic side of the West Coast.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made 60 days or more before arrival receive a full refund. Cancellations between 30 and 60 days forfeit the deposit. Cancellations made within 30 days are non-refundable. (Please refer to your booking agreement for full details.)

Are smoking and loud parties permitted at the property?

Azure Horizons is a strictly non-smoking property indoors. While we encourage enjoyment of the home, we ask that guests respect the quiet nature of the Shelley Point community, particularly after 10 PM.

Is a security deposit required for the reservation?

Yes, a refundable security deposit is required upon booking confirmation. This deposit is returned within 7 days of check-out, pending a satisfactory inspection of the property for damages.

How can I contact emergency services or property management during my stay?

A detailed welcome booklet with emergency contacts (local police, medical services) and the direct number for our dedicated property manager is provided upon check-in.
